About the project

About Gov Influence

Gov Influence is an independent, source-led public-information project that makes a bounded collection of federal records easier to read together while keeping their evidence categories separate.

Current operator and website credit

Gov Influence is the public project name and info@govinfluence.com is its approved contact. The repository does not yet identify the exact legal or individual operator; that owner and legal confirmation remains unresolved. AI Sure Tech is credited for the website. The credit does not, by itself, identify the legal operator, data source, publisher of government records, or subject of the records.

Editorial responsibility

Gov Influence is responsible for roster decisions, identity review, classifications, calculations, explanatory copy, corrections, and publication gates. Official agencies remain responsible for their own records. AI output, vendors, funders, source systems, and people described by the records do not make Gov Influence editorial decisions.

Coverage and cadence

The current collection contains six organizations, four normalized issues, eight public officials, and five selected bills. Lobbying examples mainly cover Q1-Q2 2026; each page states its own period and freshness dates. Refreshes are review-driven, not continuous, and source changes may occur between captures. This is not a comprehensive federal influence database.

Funding and independence

No crowdfunding campaign or payment flow is active. Complete ownership and funding disclosures remain unresolved and must be addressed before any funding campaign begins. Any future support must not purchase coverage, favorable treatment, suppression of accurate records, or access to private visitor data.

What the project does not do

  • Rank organizations, public officials, bills, or issues.
  • Assign ideology, popularity, trust, wrongdoing, or policy-merit labels.
  • Treat association or timing as proof of influence or causation.
  • Publish individual FEC contributor records or unreviewed lobbyist names.
  • Claim that an empty section proves no activity exists.

Publication status

The owner authorized public indexing on September 5, 2026. Published pages are crawlable, while unavailable and unpublished detail routes remain noindex. Legal-operator confirmation, final policy review, production-service verification, independent accessibility review, production-domain checks, Search Console ownership, and sitemap submission remain separate external or owner-controlled tasks.
