Privacy policy

Operator and scope

Gov Influence is the public project name and info@govinfluence.com is the approved privacy contact. The exact legal or individual operator and applicable jurisdiction have not yet been confirmed publicly. This policy covers visits, optional analytics, Kit email signup, Boeing analyst questions, feedback, and direct email communications.

Hosting and ordinary logs

The Next.js site is hosted on Vercel. Gov Influence does not maintain an application database for visitor accounts, contact forms, search history, analyst questions, or subscriber records. Hosting and security infrastructure may process request metadata such as network and device information. Actual production log fields, access, processing location, and retention have not been verified, so no fixed retention promise is made.

Optional Google Analytics

Repository code enables GA4 only when the feature flag and a valid measurement ID are configured and a visitor allows analytics. It sends templated page paths and approved low-cardinality event parameters; search text, emails, contact text, AI questions and answers, political-interest classifications, response IDs, and full source URLs are excluded. Production property settings, retention, Enhanced Measurement, consent behavior, and network requests still require verification; analytics remains disabled if configuration is incomplete.

Kit email updates

When the optional form is configured and a visitor submits it, the email address and public form fields post directly to a Kit or ConvertKit HTTPS form action. Gov Influence does not receive a Kit API key or store subscriber records in project files or an application database. Confirmed opt-in, active sequence, tags, unsubscribe behavior, recommendations, advertising settings, processor terms, and retention must still be verified in the production Kit account.

Boeing AI analyst

When enabled, the server sends a visitor's question and the approved Boeing evidence bundle to OpenAI's Responses API with store set to false and no tools. Gov Influence does not persist question or answer text in an application database or analytics. In-memory hashed-address rate buckets and response feedback counts are temporary per server instance. OpenAI states that API data is not used for training unless the customer opts in and that default abuse-monitoring logs may retain content for up to 30 days; the production project's opt-in and retention-control settings are not independently verified.

Email communications

If you email Gov Influence, your provider and the receiving mail service process the address and message so the inquiry can be handled. Email content is not sent to GA4 by site code. Retention and deletion handling for the mailbox have not been documented publicly. Do not send credentials, payment details, private contributor information, or unnecessary sensitive personal data.

Retention, deletion, and rights requests

Site-controlled information is kept only as needed for the stated operational purpose, but no universal period is promised while hosting, mailbox, Kit, GA4, and OpenAI production settings remain unverified. You may ask about or request correction or deletion of information Gov Influence controls by emailing info@govinfluence.com. Applicable access, deletion, objection, appeal, or other legal rights depend on the confirmed operator, jurisdiction, and circumstances; this policy does not claim rights that may not apply.

Children and cross-border processing

Gov Influence is a general public-record information service and is not directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child's personal information through email, signup, or AI questions; report an accidental submission for review. Vercel, Google, Kit, OpenAI, and email providers may process data in more than one jurisdiction under their terms, but the production arrangements and transfer safeguards require owner/legal verification.

Policy status and contact

This policy has not received final legal review and must be revisited when the operator, production processors and settings, and jurisdiction are confirmed. Public indexing does not close those separate review tasks. Material changes will update the review date and may be noted in Project updates.
