Inclusive access
Accessibility
Gov Influence aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA and support keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, reduced-motion, and narrow-screen use. This is a target, not a claim of full conformance.
Reviewed Sep 5, 2026
Implemented practices
- A keyboard skip link, semantic landmarks, one page H1, ordered section headings, and labeled navigation.
- Visible focus styles and native links, buttons, form labels, status messages, and disclosure behavior.
- Tables with captions and scoped headers inside keyboard-focusable horizontal-scroll regions for narrow screens.
- Text labels in addition to evidence colors, meaningful or intentionally empty image alternatives, responsive layouts, and overflow-safe content.
- A reduced-motion media query and fluid type and spacing intended to remain usable at zoom and narrow widths.
Review completed for this phase
Automated component, route, metadata, structure, color-token, and narrow-layout checks were run for the current implementation. Representative pages were rendered in Microsoft Edge at desktop and narrow mobile widths and reviewed for clipping, readable order, headings, visible focus styling in code, controls, tables, and reduced-motion rules.
Known limits and external audit gate
No independent WCAG audit or comprehensive screen-reader and assistive-technology compatibility review has been completed. Browser/device coverage is limited, interactive third-party behavior can vary, and complex government source pages are outside Gov Influence's control. Full conformance is therefore not claimed. A named assistive-technology matrix, 200-percent and 400-percent zoom review, and independent audit remain open external review tasks.
Report a barrier
